MB-EAT is an evidence-based approach developed by Dr. Jean Kristeller and taught internationally.
Struggling with emotional or out-of-control eating?
End the cycle of guilt, dieting, and overeating
📅 Next MB-EAT Group Starting May 4, 2026
This program is for you if…
You feel stuck in cycles of dieting, overeating, or food guilt
You’re tired of rules, tracking, or “starting over”
You want a calmer, more sustainable relationship with food
Does any of this sound familiar?
Your stomach is full, but you still find yourself reaching for food.
You made it through the whole day. Then it’s 9pm and you’re standing in the kitchen.
You’ve eaten something just to get rid of it so it stops being in the house
You eat something “off plan” and think — well, I’ve already ruined it, so…
You finish a meal and your first thought is already about the next one.
You thought last time was the last time. It wasn’t.
You think about food more than you would like to.
You don't feel hungry, but you're eating anyway.
You've tried being more disciplined. It works for a while, then you're back where you started.
What I Offer
I offer Mindfulness-Based Eating Awareness Training (MB-EAT), an evidence-based, structured group program designed to help people change their relationship with food, eating, and their bodies.
Rather than relying on rules, tracking, or willpower, MB-EAT focuses on helping you feel less pulled into overeating and more in control around food, so you can make eating decisions without guilt, second-guessing, or starting over.
A guided small-group experience that blends practice, reflection, and applied tools for everyday eating.
Small, live online groups
Time-limited, structured format
Grounded in mindfulness and eating awareness
Designed for adults struggling with cycles of dieting, overeating, or food guilt

Who I Am
My name is Melis Karaoglu. I’m a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario, Canada, and a certified MB-EAT Practitioner.
I created MYSA to offer a structured, mindfulness-based approach to eating. The work here is educational and experiential, focused on helping people build awareness, reduce reactivity around food, and relate to eating in a more sustainable way.
MYSA groups are not psychotherapy. They follow a clear evidence-based program structure and are designed to support learning, reflection, and practical application rather than clinical treatment.
